Interview with Tyler Millie

This month saw the launch of our new outerwear range which is modelled by equestrian and horse lover Tyler Millie. We decided to interview Tyler about her eventing journey and life with horses!

Tell us what events/ eventing you have been to this year, include horses and achievements?

So this year has been a tough one!! With a lot of ups and downs! At the beginning of the year I had such big goals to be back out eventing with Hector. We set off competing in February arena eventing placing 5th! Unfortunately, in March after feeling off, we found out big H had kissing spine and slowly multiple other issues unfolded and he was sadly put down in May. Luckily, he did get a photo with me and my Mucky Unicorn gear 😉 Horseless I started riding my partners mare and took her to some shows and competed her at Brecken borough! I now have Henry my ex-racehorse who will be doing winter dressage and I have been so lucky to have been given the opportunity of another event ride with Duke for next season!

What is your favourite Mucky Unicorn product and why?

My favourite Mucky Unicorn product is the base layer! It’s pink and matches my cross-country gear perfectly!!!

What Mucky Unicorn garments do you wear yourself?

You name it I wear it! Around the house I’m always in my Mucky Unicorn grey hoodie and joggers! They’re  so super cosy! On the yard/riding I’m always in my base layers and matching leggings! I compete  in my Mucky Unicorn leggings and pink base layer.

Why do you love modelling for Mucky Unicorn?

I love it because Mucky Unicorn has made me feel special and pretty! I’m 4ft9 and not anything special, never ever would I have thought I could do modelling. I now get to not just mode,l I get to model equestrian outfits which are such a big part of my life! It’s given me such a confidence boost in myself and in my riding!

What would you like to see from Mucky Unicorn next?

I would love to see some competition wear!

A description about yourself, your horses ect ( life on the yard):

I’m 26 years old, I work full time at Royal Mail as a manager but also run a livery yard with my partner, we have 18 liveries and 10 of our own horses and we have started breeding Irish draughts and Irish sport horses. It’s a hectic life but we have big plans to get most of the horses out competing next year
